A linux system for play video and audio:
The system is open source code,and free to use.
The system have these functions,as:play video and audio,watch digital TV (digital radio and push vod),voice recorder,picture view,read text(*.txt),not have any other function.
Support any digital TV system,as: DVB-SH,DVB-T,DMB-TH,ISDB-T,CMMB,DVB-C,DVB-S,DVB-S2,ABS-S etc. Can watch digital TV,digital radio and push vod.
Support usual digital TV receive card for any digital TV system.And the digital TV receive card can be auto distinguished.
Support conditional access (CA) for digital TV digital radio and push vod.So support USB conditional access modular,and support smart card.
If watch digital TV,digital radio, watch push vod,support EPG function.
When watch digital TV,push vod,play any video file or play DVD/Blue-ray,can selection subtitle,audio,scene (if the video have) etc.
When play audio file,support "CUE" track information or playlist,support "M3U" playlist,support "LRC" synchronous lyrics display.
Support multiple language interface.
Support H.264,MPEG4(DivX & Xvid),VC-1,WMV9,MPEG2,MPEG1,VP8,VP6,H.263,MJPEG etc. decode by hardware
Support M2TS(blue-ray),MP4,MKV,DivX,WebM,OGM,MTS,F4V,FLV,WMV,ASF,AVI,MOV,3GP,TS(TP),VOB,MPEG(mpg,dat) etc. video container
Support MP3,WMA,MPC,OGG,AC3,AAC,DTS,Wavpack,APE,FLAC,TTA,MLP,TureHD,DTS-HD,MIDI,MMF etc. decode by hardware
If the hardware not support decode,can use software to decode MP3,MPC,OGG,Wavpack,APE,FLAC,TTA
Also support WAV audio.
Support picture view function.Support JPEG,GIF,TIF (support LZW),PNG,WebP decode by hardware,if the hardware not support decode,can use software to decode these image formats.Also support BMP image.And support SVG image.
When user insert a Blue-ray video/DVD-video/SVCD/VCD/CD-audio disc,the system can autoplay.
Can selection one of video output port,such as:DISPLAYPORT,HDMI,DVI,VGA,VIDEO."VIDEO" include:YCbCr,S-Video,CVBS,if the equipment support.
Support EXT2/3/4,NTFS,FAT32,FAT,CDFS,UDF file system.
Support USB and SATA hard disk,and support any other usb disk.
Support SD/MMC card.
Support USB and SATA CDROM (Blue-ray and DVD-rom)
Support infrared remoter
Support usb mouse
The linux system have a function to switch to another system on the equipment.(In default,holding the "back button" with "power button" on the equipment over 5 secconds,can reboot the equipment and auto switch to another system.Also can set a key on infrared remoter to switch to another system.)
The system not have network function,but the kernel support TCP/IP v4 protocol,for manufacturer or user to increase new function when need network on the system.
The system can be used for Set-Top-Box (HD player),also can be used for other equipment.
The system run on ARM,MIPS or PowerPC cpu.


Another new linux system for Smart TVset:
The function will be same as the above linux system.
The system is also open source code,and free to use.
The different:
Can switch to video input mode,such as: Displayport, HDMI (or DVI), VGA, YCbCr, S-Video, CVBS(Video).On the video input mode,user can select a audio input port,such as: Analog audio input 1, Analog audio input 2 (if the TVset have more analog audio input port), SPDIF in, HDMI audio (when useing HDMI video input mode only), Displayport audio(when useing Displayport video input mode only)
If use video input mode, the system can remember the setting.When user turn on the TVset again, the system can auto switch to the lastest used video input mode when the user turn off the TVset.
Support close LCD screen light source function.If playing audio,or want to listen the TV program's audio only,user can press a key on the infrared remoter(some of TVset need to enter the menu) to close LCD screen light source.When user press anyother key (except these key: vol+, vol-, mute, play/pause, Fast forward, Rewind, Channel+, Channel-),can turn on the LCD screen light source.
Support Analog TV received function (If the TVset have a UHF/VHF turner), also support FM radio received function.
