forecast & imagine: Low-grade tabletpc in future

All of low-grade tablet pc, all of low-grade ARM or MIPS computer (ARM or MIPS all in one PC), most of the Set-Top Box (player), all of anyother low-grade embedded devices, will use public version of the PCB board designing scheme. And the shell use public mold scheme. So can greatly reduce the cost.

All have these features:
1 The CPU some of will be Single core, some of will be Dual core, some of will be more higher performance CPU. The instruction set of the CPU, some of will be ARM, some of will be MIPS.
2 For Single core CPU edition have 768MB RAM, Dual core CPU edition have 1GB RAM. More higher performance configuration tabletpc, have 1.5GB or 2GB RAM. All will be DDR3 RAM.
3 Have 4GB eMMC at least.
4 About the LCD screen:
Some of use 7" or 8" widescreen, the resolution will be 800*480, some of the resolution will be 1024*600.
Some of use 7" or 8" 4:3 screen, the resolution will be 800*600, some of the resolution will be 1024*768.
Some of (Not too many) will use IPS LCD screen.
Nearly all of the LCD screen will use LVDS interface.
5 Capacitive touch screen. Support multi-touch.
6 WIFI function, all support IEEE802.11b/g/n (at least support 150Mbps max)
7 All have gravity sensor.
8 All of low-grade tabletpc will not have bluetooth function.
9 For Single core CPU tabletpc, most of will not have camera. For Dual core CPU tabletpc, some of have a camera, some of not have. More higher performance configuration tabletpc, both have a back camera and a front camera.
10 For more higher performance configuration tabletpc, most of will integrate GPS. But for Single core and Dual core edition, nearly no tabletpc will integrate GPS.

All of the low-grade tabletpc, on the main PCB board have these pins for some functions, as: Power button,
Reset button, Vol- button, VOL+ button, Back button, Home button, Menu button, Camera, Loudspeaker, MIC, LVDS or TTL pins for LCD Screen, for capacitive touch screen pins, for Lithium ion Battery pins
Some of the PCB board, the buttons have been welded on the PCB board.

Always the Lithium ion Battery has been welded by wire into the mainboard. Some of the have a battery compartment in the back shell of the talbetpc, support BL5C or other kinds of universal Lithium ion Battery. All of Lithium ion Battery's capacity will be greater than or equal to 3500mAh.

Ports on low-grade tabletpc:
1 All have a standard 30pin docking station (port expansion)(Can expand two USB2.0 port, a VGA port, a mini Displayport).
2 All have a micro USB port, for charge, and for data transmission to PC (can be used for: brush fireware, USB debug mode on Android, USB disk mode, etc.). The micro USB port also can be used for USB host mode, when use it as USB host mode ,it can provide DC+5V electric power for USB device.
3 All have a 3.5mm audio port ,for 2 channel audio output (for earphone or other speaker) and microphone (CTIA standard)
4 All have a micro microphone
5 All have a TF card slot.
6 Some of low-grade tabletpc have a very litte loudspeaker (one channel only), some of not have.

Buttons:
All of the tabletpc,have a "power" button, a "reset" button (pinhole button), a "back" button, a "menu" button, a pair "vol+" and "vol-" button
All of the "reset" button will be a pinhole button.
Some of tabletpc, in the front shell, the "back" button, "home" button, and "menu" button are all touch button, and when press any touch button, indicator lamps in the touch button will be lighted

Operating system:
In future, all of low-grade tabletpc and set-top-box, will be pre-installed Android (Android 4.4.4 or newer version) and a Linux release edition (such as: Ubuntu etc.) on the eMMC of the equipment.
The pre-installed Android and the Linux release edition will be coexisted on the eMMC of the equipment.
When user turn on the equipment, can choose which Android or the Linux release edition (or anyother operating system, if has been installed) want to be entered.
All of low-grade tabletpc and set-top-box, the pre-installed Android operating system on the equipment, will have been got "root".
Most of will be pre-installed "Recovery" system on the eMMC.

About the drivers of capacitive touch screen and LCD screen:
All of the low-grade tabletpc's manufacturer, will provide the capacitive touch screen's driver, and the LCD screen's driver (LCD screen config file). When user want to install anyother Linux operating system to the tabletpc, user can integrate or install the drivers to the operating system.

The low-grade tabletpc will not have any other accessories, such as: USB cable, USB charger, earphone, packing box, instructions etc. So can reduce the cost.

Many manufacturers will sell the components of a low-grade tabletpc, these components include: LCD screen, capacitive touch screen, cables for LCD screen and capacitive touch screen, motherboard, the back shell, the frame shell, a Lithium ion battery. So user can assemble a low-grade tabletpc easy by theirself. And manufacturers can save assembly costs.

In the near future, the cost of the low-grade tabletpc, at least will be nearly about US$27. Although the cost will be very low, but the quality of the product will be very good.
When user will use the tabletpc, it will run very fluent and fast.
The sales volume of the low-grade tabletpc, will be very high in many developed countries.
In all of large cities and many middle cities of developed countries, will prohibit to sell the low-grade tabletpc.
In United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore etc., will prohibit to sell the low-grade tabletpc.
In USA, Australia, New Zealand, the low-grade tabletpc will be hard to buy.
In all of less developed countries, the low-grade tabletpc will not have sell.

If the tabletpc cost less than about US$140,usually not have warranty.
But the quality of the product will be still very good.

forecast & imagine: Very cheap low-grade smart phone in the near future

Very cheap low-grade smart phone will be came out in the near future in many developed countries.
Nearly all of this kind of phone have these feature:
^ Will use public version of the PCB board designing scheme. And the shell will use public mold scheme. So can greatly reduce the cost
^ ARM Cortex A9 1.5Ghz Single-core CPU (Some of will use MIPS instruction set), the L2 cache of CPU greater than or equal to 512KB
^ All support H.264 (AVC) decoding and encoding by hareware. And support VP8 video decoding and encoding by hareware.
^ 768MB DDR3 RAM (Maybe 64MB or a few more capacity will be used as display cache, so have 704MB capacity of RAM can be visible)
^ 4GB NAND flash
^ Support GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900Mhz, and WCDMA.
(Some of support CDMA & CDMA2000 & GSM)
^ Bluetooth (support A2DP)(Some of low-grade phone will not have Bluetooth function, because some users will never use Bluetooth function, and so can reduce the cost.)
^ Wifi IEEE802.11 b/g/n (150Mbps max)
^ GPS
^ All have these sensors: gravity sensor, light sensor, accelerometer, compass

^ Android operating system on the phone some of will be not "root", but user can be easy to use some methods to get "root". Some of the phone, Android operating system will have been got "root".
^ Accessories with the phone: A Lithium polymer battery only. Not include any other accessories, such as: USB cable, USB charger, earphone, packing box, instructions etc. So can reduce the cost.

Many chip manufacturers will produce the main chip for low-grade smart phone, such as: MediaTek (MTK), Realtek, VIA, ALI, Sunplus, Winbond, Telechips, ATJ, Allwinner, Rockchip, Amlogic, Sigma, ATMEL, Texas Instruments (TI), Marvell, NXP Semiconductors (Freescale), Analog Devices, Cirrus Logic, STMicroelectronics etc.

Many young people, students and low-income people, will very like this kind of low-grade phone.
The sales volume of this kind of low-grade phone will be very good.
This kind of low-grade phone will cost less than US$30.
The quality of the phone will be also very good.
When user will use the low-grade phone, it will run very fluent and fast.
In many large cities and many middle cities of some developed countries, will prohibit to sell very low-grade phone.
In United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Japan and Singapore, will prohibit to sell the low-grade phone nationwide. The purpose will be to defend middle-grade and high-grade phone's sales volume, and can encourage tax.

Since the near future:

In the near future, Set-Top Box will have have 1GB DDR3 RAM, have 4GB eMMC at least. The CPU all will be Dual core at least (ARM or MIPS instruction set).
Most of Set-Top Box will use public version of the PCB design scheme. And the shell use public mold scheme.

Set-Top Box will be Pre-installed Android, Linux (for watching TV, play video and audio only) and a Linux release edition, 3 systems will coexist.
When user start the set-top-box, can choose which operating system to be entered.
The pre-installed Android all will be Android 4.4.4 or newer version, and have been got "root".
Most of will be pre-installed "Recovery" system on the eMMC.

The Pre-installed Linux for mediaplayer, it's a media center operating system. User can use infrared remote to control it, it support wathcing digital TV (if the set-top-box support), watching IPTV (whether live TV channel or VOD, support IP multicast), playing video and audio, support USB flash disk, USB or SATA hard driver, USB or SATA CDROM(or DVD, Blu-ray), SD/MMC card etc.

So can greatly reduce the cost.

All manufacturers of the main chip (for low-grade tabletpc, or for set-top-box), all will release the bootloader image (usually as "boot.img" file). And also release the main chip's driver package(for Linux kernel), and the display driver package(GPU driver)(for Linux kernel).
So user can be easy to install anyother Linux operating system and install drivers to the tabletpc (or set-top-box).

In the near future, low-grade ARM or MIPS computer for office use will be came out.
In essence, the low-grade ARM or MIPS computer will be a low-grade all-in-one PC.
The low-grade ARM or MIPS computer will be very popular in many developed countries in future, such as: many European countries, Canada, South Korea, Taiwan (Republic of China) etc., and it can reduce the cost of office equipment.
Features of the low-grade ARM or MIPS computer:
1 Will use public version of the PCB board designing scheme. And the shell use public mold scheme. So can greatly reduce the cost.
2 The main chip scheme will be same as low-grade tabletpc.
3 Will use single core or dual core CPU, or more higher performance CPU, the instruction set will be ARM or MIPS.
4 If use single core CPU, at least have 768MB DDR3 RAM. If use dual core CPU, will have 1GB DDR3 RAM at least. If use more higher performance CPU, have 1.5GB or 2GB DDR3 RAM.
5 At least have 4GB eMMC.

User also can install some other Linux operating system to the computer. This feature will be same as low-grade tabletpc and set-top-box.
9 Some of will have video capture function, have a 3.5mm YCbCr and CVBS video input port, can capture YCbCr or CVBS video. Some of not have video capture function.
10 The cost of the low-grade ARM or MIPS computer will be very cheap. The price of it will be nearly same or a few higher than low-grade tabletpc.
11 In future, the sales volume of the Low-grade ARM or MIPS computer in many developed countries will be very high. Many companies will buy and use it for easily office use. Many reception of restaurant, western restaurant, hotel, bar, shop, hospital etc., and middle supermarket or small supermarket, fast food restaurant, coffee bar etc., will also like to use it.
Because the low-grade ARM or MIPS computer will be very cheap, can save more cost than low-grade x86 PC, and it can save power supply than low-grade x86 PC.
12 It also can be used as ATM (Automatic Teller Machine), Queue Management System, many kinds of Self-service equipment etc.
13 But in all of less developed countries, the low-grade ARM or MIPS computer will not have sell.

Recommend since the near future, more chip manufacturers to produce chips for low-grade phone, low-grade tabletpc & set-top-box, such as: MediaTek (MTK), Realtek, VIA, ALI, Sunplus, Winbond, Telechips, ATJ, Allwinner, Rockchip, Amlogic, Sigma, ATMEL, Texas Instruments (TI), Marvell, NXP Semiconductors (Freescale), Analog Devices, Cirrus Logic, STMicroelectronics etc.
Because for low-grade phone & low-grade tabletpc, the market prospects is very broad in now and future.
Recommend since the near future, some chips for low-grade phone, low-grade tabletpc & set-top-box, can use MIPS instruction set.

Forecast: Apple in China in future

In future, Apple Inc. will compromise with China.
In future, Apple Inc. will build a joint venture in China.
For China users, Apple's datacenter will be builded in China (Data will be saved in CHINA UNICOM, China Telecom's datacenter.)
So in future, Apple will release IOS for China edition, and Apple application store for China will be saved in China datacenter.
About IOS for China edition:
Any IOS equipment (include: Iphone, IPAD, Ipodtouch) if sold to China, when the equipment be produced, will have been pre-installed IOS for China edition.
If a non-China edition IOS equipment, when user update the IOS in China network (not International internet), will be connected to Apple in China's datacenter, and be updated as IOS for China edition.
If any IOS equipment using IOS for China edition, when user update the IOS in International internet, will be updated as IOS Standard Edition.
Features about IOS for China edition:
When user in China, will call a phone, send message (SMS, EMS, MMS), or connect internet (when use cellular communication), before these, should use the camera to photograph user's head portrait, and send the head portrait to telecom operator's auto, after these user can call a phone, send message (SMS, EMS, MMS), or connect internet (for use cellular communication only).
Integrate some user behavior detection function.
